Pulau Indah Ventures studying home prices in Iskandar before launching its properties

NUSAJAYA: Pulau Indah Ventures Sdn Bhd (PIV) is monitoring the prices of residential properties within Iskandar Malaysia before launching its properties in the two urban wellness projects here.

Chairman Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail said that currently, the prices for high-end apartment and condominium units in Iskandar Malaysia hovered between RM700 and RM800 per sq ft.

“Ours will be competitive but you must remember what sets us apart from others is that our residential properties will be within the wellness projects,” he told a briefing after the ground breaking ceremony of Afiniti Medini and Avira wellness projects by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Singapore Premier Lee Hsien Loong.

He said the company would launch 458 terrace houses measuring 65ft by 27ft in the Avira with a floor area of 2,220 sq ft each and priced below RM1mil.

Syed Anwar said it had received many enquiries from Malaysians and Singaporeans as well as other foreigners who had shown strong interest to purchase properties in the two projects.

“We are looking at about 3,000 residential properties in the two projects with 12,000 permanent residents,” he said.

Syed Anwar said the projects would be the first in Asia where residents could enjoy the wellness-related offerings and facilities all year around.

He said to begin with, the company did not actually target sick people or senior citizens for the projects as had been perceived by many when the projects were made known to the public about a year ago.

He said all components in the two projects catered to different age groups and target customers as each of them had special needs and preferences when it came to wellness.
