Tropicana Corp to unveil Tropicana Metropark’s third phase in October

Tropicana Corporation Bhd expects to unveil the first commercial component for its integrated development Tropicana Metropark in October.

The spokesperson, however, declined to share details of the project at press time.

The commercial lots will be the third phase of the RM7.2 billion, 88-acre freehold Tropicana Metropark in Subang Jaya, which is being developed over five phases.

To date, Metropark’s first phase, Pandora Serviced Residences has sold 98% of its units while the second phase, Paloma Serviced Residences and Courtyard Villas are 70% taken up.

Pandora Serviced Residences, which was the first residential component introduced within the integrated development, was launched in 2013 and has a gross development value (GDV) of RM365 million.

It comprises 627 units of studio, two and three-bedroom apartments within a 25-storey tower. The built-up of the units range from 599 sq ft and 1,288 sq ft.

Pandora Residences is under construction and will be completed in 2016.

Meanwhile, Paloma Services Residences and Courtyard Villas have a cumulative GDV of RM465 million. It will comprise two serviced residential towers with a total of 587 units.

The units have built-ups from 609 sq ft to 1,309sq ft. The launch price of the units start from RM650,000.

Courtyard Villas consist of 16 duplex units with built-ups from 2,400 sq ft to 2,674 sq ft.

Tropicana Corp hosted a bazaar in Tropicana Metropark on Aug 15 in a bid to transform the project into a community hub. The bazaar was held at Metropark’s 9.2 acre Central Park.

“This is our first bazaar and we are very grateful to receive such an encouraging respond. More than 500 patrons turned out to visit our one-day bazaar. We had 40 vendors offering a multitude of wares from fashionable knick-knacks, handicrafts to food and beverages,” said Tropicana Corp head of marketing and sales Ung Lay Ting (pictured) in a press release today.

“Given the good turnout and encouraging respond from our patrons, we will be hosting another exciting bazaar,” she added.
